Fix these first

From the example above. Check your own site to get the fixes that apply to it.

  1. Warning: Canonical tag is missing

Without a canonical URL, search engines may index duplicate versions of this page (with and without trailing slash, with UTM parameters) and split its ranking signals.

How to fix it: Add <link rel="canonical" href="http://example-shop.hr/"> in <head>.
  2. Warning: Organization structured data has no logo or sameAs links

Google uses logo for the brand box in search and sameAs (your social profiles) to connect the brand across the web.

How to fix it: Add "logo" with the URL of a square image of at least 112×112 px.

Readiness is half the picture

The checks above say whether assistants can read and quote example-shop.hr. Ask one a question your customers ask and see whether the answer names or cites you, with its sources. Check your own site first, then the link fills in your domain.

Ask what AI says

What the AI visibility checker tests

The checks an assistant's crawler and answer engine run into before they can cite you, scored like the rest of the report.

  • AI crawler access

Shows which AI assistants robots.txt blocks, so your content is in or out of AI answers by choice.

  • AI opt-out directives

Checks for tags that ask AI systems not to train on the page, so you know which choice the page signals.

  • llms.txt file

Checks for an optional plain-text index of your key pages, written for AI assistants to read first.

  • llms.txt format

Checks llms.txt follows the llmstxt.org format, since tools that read it skip a file in the wrong shape.

  • Noindex directive

Checks whether the page tells Google to leave it out of search results, which loses all search visits.

  • Search indexability

Checks the page returns 200, has no noindex and is allowed in robots.txt, so it can appear in search.

  • Content that needs JavaScript

Checks how much visible text appears only after scripts run, since it can be indexed late or not at all.

  • Page title

Checks the page has a title, the headline Google shows in results and the text in the browser tab.

  • Meta description

Checks for the short summary shown under your result, so Google does not pick a random sentence instead.

  • Page language

Checks the page declares its language for search engines, translation tools and screen readers.

  • Canonical tag

Tells search engines which address is the real one, so duplicates don't split rankings.

  • Word count

Counts the body text, since pages under 300 words give search engines little to rank.

How the AI visibility check works

  1. Crawl like an assistant

We fetch the page the way AI crawlers do, read robots.txt for 18 AI user agents, look for opt-out directives, and check whether the page is indexable at all.

  2. Read what they would read

We check the text that exists without JavaScript, the title, description, language and canonical, and the llms.txt and structured data that tell assistants who you are.

  3. Then ask an assistant

Readiness is half the picture. The result links to Does AI mention my brand? with your domain filled in, so one click shows what Claude answers today, with its citations.

Passing every check does not make an assistant cite you; it removes the reasons it cannot. Whether you are named depends on the question, the competition and the engine, and changes from week to week.

AI visibility checker questions

How do I check the AI visibility of my website for free?

Enter your address above. The checker fetches the page once, through the same safe fetcher our reports use, and scores the access, readability, llms.txt and structured-data checks. Then use the link under the result to ask Claude a question your customers ask and see whether the answer names or cites you. Both are free and need no account.

What does the AI visibility score on this page measure?

Readiness, not fame. It is the SEO and structured-data score of the checks shown here: can AI crawlers fetch the page, is there text without JavaScript, does the page say what it is about, do llms.txt and schema describe you. A high score means nothing stands in the way; it does not mean an assistant mentions you today.

Is my website visible to AI assistants if the checks pass?

It can be. Assistants search, read the top results and quote the passages that answer the question most directly. Passing the checks means they can read and quote you; being chosen over another site depends on how clearly your pages answer the question and on your standing in search. The brand mention check shows the actual answer.

How do I track AI visibility over time?

One answer is a sample, and answers change between runs. getReport Pro asks your prompts every week across engines and shows how often you are named and cited over 4 weeks, with competitors and alerts. The free tier tracks 3 prompts monthly; the checks on this page stay free for everyone.
