Why does my link show an old preview?
Facebook, LinkedIn and others cache previews, often for days. Fix the tags, confirm them with the social preview checker, then ask the platform to fetch the page again, for example with Facebook’s Sharing Debugger or LinkedIn’s Post Inspector.
What size should a share image be?
1200 by 630 pixels works on every major platform. Keep the important part away from the edges, because some platforms crop the image to a square.
Do the generators upload what I type?
No. The Open Graph tag generator, the UTM link builder and the share link generator run on your computer. Nothing you type is sent to us.
Why do UTM tags matter?
Without them, visits from a newsletter or a social post often show up as direct traffic in your analytics. Tagged links say where each visit came from, so you can tell which campaign worked.
