How tracking works

  1. You add your site, your competitors and the prompts your customers ask.
  2. Every week we ask each engine, as a user in your country, and keep the full answer and its citations.
  3. You see rates over 4 weeks, share of voice against competitors, and the sources engines trust.
  4. An alert tells you when a mention or citation is lost or won, or a competitor overtakes you.

Engines today: Claude. Planned before launch: ChatGPT and Perplexity. Never: Gemini, whose terms forbid it. Google AI Overviews and AI Mode only after a legal review.

Questions before you pay

Why do AI answers change between runs, and how does getReport Pro handle that?
Assistants are not deterministic: the same question can get a different answer an hour later. So Pro never shows one yes or no. It asks every week, keeps every answer with its citations, and shows rates over the last 4 weeks, such as "named in 3 of 4 weeks" and "cited in 58 % of samples". Starred prompts on Pro are asked twice a week for steadier rates.
Can I cancel getReport Pro at any time?
Yes, with one click in your account, and your data stays readable for 90 days. A founding reservation can be cancelled before the first charge and costs nothing. There are no retention offers and no email to write.
What does bring your own key (BYOK) mean here?
If you have your own OpenAI, Perplexity or Anthropic API key, you can add it and the limits on prompts and asks go away; you pay the provider, we add no margin. BYOK stays free: it is how the free tools work too.
Are the getReport Pro prices with or without VAT?
Without. Paddle, our merchant of record, adds the VAT of your country at checkout and puts it on the invoice. Businesses with a VAT number pay no VAT under the reverse charge; the price you see is the price you pay.
Which AI engines does getReport Pro ask today?
Claude, through the Anthropic API with web search, with every citation shown. ChatGPT and Perplexity join when their terms review is signed off, before tracking opens. Google AI Overviews and AI Mode need a separate legal review and are not included; Gemini never is, its terms forbid it.
When is my card charged for a founding reservation?
On the day tracking opens, shown on this page once the date is set, and monthly or yearly from then on. Paddle saves the card now and charges nothing until that day. If tracking does not open, nothing is charged.
What stays free when getReport Pro exists?
Everything that is free today: the full report, every tool, Ask AI within its daily limit, the WordPress plugin, and the free tier of tracking (1 site, 3 prompts, monthly). Pro adds weekly tracking, competitors, alerts and exports; it never takes a check away.
