How the AI brand mention checker works

  2. Claude answers with search

    Claude searches the web and answers as it would for a user in the country you picked. The answer and its citations are kept as they came back.

  3. Read where you stand

    You see whether your brand is named, whether your site is cited and in which place, and which other sites the answer relies on.

One answer from one engine is a sample, not a ranking. API answers can differ from the Claude app, and ChatGPT and Perplexity are not asked yet.

Does AI mention my brand?

Ask the question your customers ask and this checker shows you. It reads the answer for your brand name and for your domain's name (example-shop.hr counts as Example Shop), and checks whether your site is among the sources the answer cites. A brand can be named without being cited, or cited without being named, so both are shown.

Which AI assistants does it ask?

Claude, with Anthropic's web search, for now. ChatGPT and Perplexity are built into the same checker but stay switched off until we have checked their terms for showing and storing answers. When they are on, they join the same page and the same question is asked of each.

Why does the answer differ from what I see in the app?

We ask through the API, which can use a different model, different search settings and no memory of you. The app also personalises answers. Treat this as how the assistant answers a new user in the country you picked, which is close to what most of your customers get.

How do I get AI to mention my brand?

Be the clearest source for the question. Answer it in the first lines of a page, with specific facts like prices, delivery times and numbers with units, and make sure AI crawlers may read your site.
