About getReport

Every paid tool gives away a slice and charges for the rest: mobile results here, history there, exports and the API behind a plan. The parts that cost the most to build turned out to be cheap to run, so we run them for everyone. A report costs about €0.001; the whole service runs on one server.

getReport is the third tool in the get*.app family after getSVG and getPNG, with the same promise: free, fast, no account, no upsell.

By donations, in the open. The funding page lists every cost and every unlock. Features that cost real money — more test locations, monitoring, site crawls — switch on for everyone once monthly support covers them, and switch off again if it does not. Nothing is unlocked for one person.

Sponsor logos appear only in the footer, on the funding page and on the status page, never inside findings. Sponsors cannot influence scores, checks or copy.

We fetch your page like a browser, run 187 checks in seven modules, and measure speed with Google’s PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse) plus real-user Core Web Vitals from the Chrome UX Report. Accessibility is scanned with axe-core on the rendered page. Every finding comes with why it matters and how to fix it; the technical detail sits behind a toggle. The methodology page lists every check, its weight and the scoring formula.

The check catalogue is a single file, and every learn guide is generated from it, so what the report says and what the guide says never drift.

A report shows what any browser sees on a public page, and reports stay out of search engines unless the verified owner opts in. Still, site owners decide:

• Remove a report. Send the link through the removal form. Once we confirm you own the site (a reply from an address on its domain, or a DNS record), the link shows “This report was removed” and leaves the site’s history, badge and our cache. We keep the data 30 days in case of a mistake, then delete it.
• Stop all checks. Same form. Nobody can check the site here any more, with the tools too, and visitors who try read a short note instead.
• Something harmful. A report showing personal data or a private page: report a problem. We act on those within 24 hours.

A person reads every request, and every removal is logged. We answer takedowns within 3 days, legal and security requests within 24 hours.
